Fields

Cancelled = 3

The caller cancelled the backup.

CbwStall = 1

A write to the data file had to wait for the backup to preserve the page it overwrites, longer than the capture allows: the backup could not keep up with the writers. Transient: a later attempt, at a quieter moment, may succeed.

EngineFault = 7

The engine cannot take a consistent point right now: its open has not completed, recovery is running, or its commit pipeline or checkpointer has stopped. The message says which.

EngineStopping = 4

The engine began to close, or is not open.

GateTimeout = 2

The freeze could not drain the data-file writes in flight within its budget. Transient.

None = 0

No reason recorded: the capture has not aborted.

SinkFailed = 5

The backup store failed; the store's exception is the inner one.

TailUnreadable = 8

A WAL segment the backup needs could not be read, or did not hold a valid header.

TrackingDisabled = 9

Data-file write tracking is switched off for this process (TYPHON_DATAFILE_GATE=0), so no consistent image can be frozen. An offline backup (Create(string, string, BackupCreateOptions)) still works.

WalFlushTimeout = 6

The WAL did not become durable up to the point being frozen within the budget, or failed. Transient.
