Enum BackupHealthReason

Namespace
Typhon.Engine
Assembly
Typhon.Engine.dll

Why Health is what it is: the worst condition that holds (plan 1416 §3.5).

public enum BackupHealthReason

Fields

ArchiveFailed = 7

The WAL archive diverged from this database's history, or refused to start.

ArchiveGap = 8

The WAL archive misses a range no later point covers, or the backlog limit released it.

ArchiveLag = 9

The WAL archive is stalled, or lags more than twice its maximum segment age.

CaptureRefused = 5

The engine refuses to capture (write tracking switched off, a fault): no retry helps until that changes.

ConsecutiveFailures = 3

Three or more backups in a row failed.

DrillFailed = 10

The newest drill failed, and no drill ever passed.

DrillFailedOlderOk = 16

The newest drill failed, but an older one passed.

DrillStale = 15

The newest drill is older than DrillWindow, or there is none.

FirstPointPending = 11

This timeline has no point yet: a fresh or just-restored database.

KeptPointBroken = 17

The last retention left a point it keeps unrestorable (its kept-point check failed after the deletes, 05 §3 R1): a defect, reported as Failing.

KeptPointDamaged = 18

A compaction of the last retention found a pack of a kept point's chain damaged (compaction is the one routine full read of a kept chain): that point may not restore. Run typhon backup verify --level full.

LastPointSuspect = 12

The newest point holds pages the live database had damaged, on pages its own occupancy marks allocated.

NoRestorablePoint = 2

The store holds no restorable point, and a backup of this session has been attempted.

None = 0

Nothing needs attention.

NotConfigured = 1

Backup is not configured (Off).

RetentionBlocked = 13

The last retention could not meet its policy without breaking MinKeep or KeepLastDrilled, or a chain is damaged.

RetentionFailed = 14

The last retention failed.

Stale = 6

The newest point of this timeline is older than twice the interval.

StoreUnreachable = 4

The store has been failing for longer than the interval.
