How the archiving of one WAL segment ended. Carried as the optional outcome byte on BackupArchiveSegment spans; absent when the span ended before the archiver knew (0 is not a value).

Fields

Abandoned = 3

The copy was abandoned: the archiver stopped, or the segment was released to a gap.

Archived = 1

The segment is in the archive, durable.

Failed = 2

The copy failed (the store, the segment); the archiver retries it.
